Le Wagon is – at least according to Course Report and SwitchUp – the #1 ranked coding bootcamp in the world. I’ve worked there part-time since 2019, lecturing budding engineers on web development and spreading the good word of full stack Rails applications along the way.
It’s a lot of fun. I get to meet a bunch of ambitious students and also keep my own skills sharp, staying on top of bleeding edge developments in the world of software engineering.

I also provide coaching on pitching and public speaking as part of my role. I find this skill is regularly overlooked yet often critical to the success of a product. I’ve seen many great ideas fall by the wayside because the person pitching them couldn’t effectively communicate the value proposition, and this is something we try to help students avoid at Le Wagon.
